2019 3 Temporada – Cast: Bishop Leandro Leão
I just ask for 3 minutes of your attention, imagine a man who lived in complete darkness, at a time when there was no electricity.
He prepared the wax, the wick and the fire to bring light and a better quality of life to himself and his family, expanding his possibilities. However, an unexpected wind struck his dream, defying his wishes. In the midst of an unsolvable situation, trying to resist despair and unable to believe in a miracle or change, he finds himself at a crossroads, feeling that everyone has abandoned him and that there is no longer a solution for the life he is living at this moment.
I invite you, at this moment, to stop looking at the bottom of the well and start looking up, at the sky. Believing in God is intrinsically linked to knowledge, as the Bible states in two situations:
- We err due to lack of knowledge;
- To have faith and believe in God, it will be necessary to study His Word;
Otherwise, we will never be able to believe in him. I want to invite you to travel together through the pages of the Bible, which tell the story of Christ, starting with his miracles, going through his parables and teachings. In this way, we will be able to establish a relationship with God, not based on something superficial, but based on his body and blood, as has always been his desire, so that we are not two, but one in him.
May Jesus come to live in your heart and in your life and this will happen through the knowledge that you will acquire here in this series.
Before you make a DEFINITIVE DECISION IN YOUR LIFE, allow me to present Jesus Christ in a way that you have never seen, in a way that you have never heard. I am sure that by the end of this series, you will experience a better quality of life, your emotions will be completely different, and your heart will be at peace. You will want to walk through green fields, feel the grass on your feet and take pleasure in entering the house of God, proclaiming: JESUS CHANGED MY LIFE!
I don't present you with a religion, I present you with JESUS!

Luke - 12:13-21 tells the story of a rich man who decided to build bigger barns to store his abundant harvest. He felt so secure and happy with his wealth that he thought he would relax and enjoy the fruits of his labor for years to come. However, God called him a fool and reminded him that his life could end at any moment, and he could take nothing with him other than his good deeds.
The moral of the story is that we should be wary of greed and material wealth, and instead focus on living a meaningful life and helping those around us. This is a powerful teaching that resonates even today, where we often worry about accumulating possessions and wealth rather than pursuing a full and meaningful life.

Luke 13:1-9 How many opportunities for salvation does God grant to each human being? Are they the same for everyone? Does the way we live not affect this? Let's answer these and many other questions on this topic together.
He mentions another incident in which the tower of Siloam fell and killed 18 people. Again, Jesus emphasizes that these people were no more guilty than others. Then Jesus tells the parable of the barren fig tree. A man had a fig tree in his vineyard that did not produce fruit. He told his gardener to cut it down, but the gardener asked to leave it for another year so he could fertilize and care for it.
If it does not produce fruit that year, then it could be cut down. The parable is a metaphor for God's grace. The fig tree represents humanity, and God is the gardener. He gives us a chance to bear fruit in our lives, but if we don't, we may be cut off. The message is that we all need to repent and produce fruit in our lives to please God.

Luke 14:7-14 narrates a parable told by Jesus during a Saturday dinner at the home of one of the main Pharisees. In this passage, Jesus talks about the importance of humility and service to others, teaching that true greatness does not lie in occupying places of honor and prominence, but in being humble and serving others.
At the verse 7, Jesus observes how people look for the best places at a party, to receive honor and prestige. He then uses an illustration, suggesting that it is better to choose a lower seat at the table and be invited to move up than to choose a high seat and be humiliated when someone more important arrives.
We will see that a pastor, when he sees flaws in his church, has the freedom to talk about it in the same way that Christ does in this meeting.

Luke 14:25-35 presents an excerpt from the gospel where Jesus talks about the price of discipleship and the requirements to follow Him. This passage highlights that being a follower of Christ is not easy or cheap, requiring total surrender and renunciation.
Jesus begins by emphasizing the importance of loving Him more than anyone else, even more than our own family members. He uses strong expressions, such as “hating” our family, to emphasize that our love and dedication to Him must be supreme and unconditional. This doesn't mean literally hating our loved ones, but being willing to put the Lord first in our lives.
